SUNDRE – The ice surface at the municipality's outdoor skating rink was ready as of earlier this month with plenty of time to spare in the lead-up to the holidays.

The rink is available to the community at no cost and people are encouraged to be respectful of others when there are many users on the ice.

Night skating is also available courtesy of work done in 2017, with lights on between 4:30 and 10 p.m.

The outdoor rink is located along Second Avenue NW immediately adjacent and to the west of the Sundre Skatepark near the Sundre & District Aquaplex.
