SUNDRE - An unplanned power outage affected nearly 1,000 customers in the Sundre area Wednesday afternoon.
Power is estimated to have been disrupted at about 2:02 p.m. on July 17 in Sundre and areas largely to the north of town.
FortisAlberta estimates power will be restored to those affected by 5 p.m.
At the time the company posted the disruption on its outage map, it says 963 customers were affected and the reason for the outage was unknown at the time.
