Jason Klaus and Joshua Frank must now serve a minimum 50 years in prison before they can apply for release, following the murders of Klaus' father, mother and sister.

In the preceding two weeks, the church has held services with 290 and 300 congregants, with video of the services showing no masks. Prior to the arrest, a $1,200 fine was levied in December.

"It's great. I mean any time you can get on the ice, especially during COVID, is just kind of a blessing," said Ryan Straschnitzki.

Richard Vigneault, a spokesman for Olymel, says there was an outbreak at the company's plant in Red Deer in November, but it wasn't until Jan. 20 that there was a significant rise in infections.

"It's been a lot easier with the rules and the restrictions we have here in Canada to stay healthy," Calgary Flames goalie Jacob Markstrom said.

Air Canada also said this week that it will pause all operations of Air Canada Rouge and lay off 80 employees starting Feb. 8 as a result of the flight suspensions.

Kavi Bal, a spokesperson in the Premier's office, said an announcement is to be made next week. 

The affected tournaments include the Esso Cup, the Telus Cup, the Centennial Cup and the Allan Cup.
