TORONTO — The Canadian Medical Association says doctors still face hurdles getting personal protective equipment and fear they won't be able to adequately respond to increased demands for the flu shot.

With over 1 million public school students, New York City initially had a more ambitious timeline than many other big U.S. school systems for bringing children back to schoolhouses this fall.

The Liberals said in July that the deficit would be $343.2 billion, but that didn't include new possible spending, or measures coming in under budget.
