DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts defeated the Rocky Rams 3-2 at the Didsbury Memorial Complex last Saturday night to improve the team’s 2022-23 record to six wins and three losses.
The Colt got goals from Jay Heistad (assist Haiden Parks), Corson Waiting (assists Ryan Bauer and Hayden Sotheran) and Jordan Saunders (assist Parks).
Colts netminder Chance Griffith stopped 27 shots for the win.
The Colts lost 3-2 to the Airdrie Techmation Thunder in Airdrie Oct. 22.
The Colts got goals from Heistad (assists Logan Richards and Tyler Rude) and from Saunders (assists Corson Waiting and Trey Stovin).
Colts netminder Shayne Price stopped 21 shots in the loss.
The Colts are at home today, Oct. 28 against the Red Deer Vipers and against Three Hills Thrashers on Saturday in Heritage Junior B Hockey League action.
