INNISFAIL – Alberta Health Services (AHS) has announced its Addiction and Mental Health Clinic in Innisfail has moved into a new and larger home on Main Street.
The new AHS home, previously in the Innisfail Health Centre, becomes operational on Tuesday, Dec. 14 and will be located at 5056 - 50th Street. It will continue to provide assessment and treatment for children, youth, adults and seniors with addiction or mental health concerns.
The new location provides an expanded space and more confidential areas for clients, said an AHS spokesperson.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. The clinic is closed on statutory holidays.
Appointments can continue to be made by calling either 403-227-4601 or 403-507-8174.
For 24-hour or seven-day-a-week support, citizens can call the Addiction Help Line at 1-866-332-2322 and the Mental Health Help Line at 1-877-303-2642.
