DIDSBURY - Mountain View County's largest festival of its kind returns this weekend. The 9th annual Mountain View Arts Festival goes Sept. 7 and 8 in downtown Didsbury.

In September, Parkland Regional Library and the Olds Municipal Library are celebrating Library Card Sign-up Month.

The Olds Community Chorus is getting back into its fall season. They're holding a meet-and-greet this Friday, Sept. 6, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hope Pointe Community Church for those interested in joining the choral group.

CARSTAIRS - The Carstairs Public Library has recently welcomed a new library manager, Megan Ginther. Ginther came to Mountain View County from Edmonton where she worked in the Edmonton Public Library systems. She started on Aug.

Local music fans will soon have an opportunity to see live performances at the Sundre Arts Centre.

DIDSBURY - Top Note Music Studio in Didsbury had a very special visitor recently: Diane Atkinson of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Atkinson was in town to administer three exams to local students Tyler Kidd and Ethan Sheridan.

DIDSBURY - The fourth annual Days of Yore was another big success over the long weekend with numbers well up from last year. The historical re-enactment festival, which was held Aug.
