A toy will cancel out parking tickets handed out between Nov. 14 and Dec. 15 at Alberta Health
Services parking lots.
Alberta Health Services has brought back its Toys for Tickets program which allows people to have their parking violations cancelled with the donation of an unwrapped toy worth $25 to an AHS parking office.
The toys are donated to charities and children’s organizations in Alberta. Last year AHS donated more than 470 toys from the Toys for Tickets program.
Recommended toys include books, gift cards, journals, baby toys, colouring and activity books, electronics and headphones, Lego, portable DVD players, science sets and art supplies.
