Two playground projects in Mountain View County will be helped along with recent funding commitment from Mountain View County.Councillors recently approved $15,000 in community grant funding for playgrounds in Bergen and at the Olds Koinonia Christian School.Motions were passed approving $5,000 for the Bergen Community Association and $10,000 for the Olds Koinoinia Christian School. The funds will come out of the 2012 community services budget.The Bergen money will be used to purchase and erect new safety-approved playground equipment for outside the Bergen Hall. The Koinonia money will be used for the construction of a new elementary playground structure.Two other requests, one from Deer Meadow School, for $15,600, and one from the Water Valley Community Association, for $32,063, were both deemed ineligible for funding under the community services budget.
