DIDSBURY - Town staff are scheduled to move into their new location on 14th Street on July 17 and 18. In order to facilitate the move, the Town of Didsbury will be offering limited services to residents on those days.

"Front-end assistance and telephone service will not be available at the town office or Didsbury Neighborhood Place; however, the Didsbury Memorial Complex and Public Works facilities will be open with limited administrative services available," said CAO Harold Northcott in a press release sent out Friday by the town.

Northcott added that due to the transition of moving from one building to another, access to Internet and telephone service will be unavailable at all Town of Didsbury facilities.

"We will be unable to accept credit/debit payments at any Town of Didsbury location, or access resident information from our financial software," he said. "We ask that residents requiring assistance please plan to visit or call us prior to July 14 or after July 19."

The new facility, located at 1606 14th St. will house the town's administration staff, council chambers and Didsbury Neighborhood Place. "All Town of Didsbury departments and services are expected to be fully operational again on Wednesday, July 19," said Northcott. "We thank the public in advance of your patience during this time of transition."
