Two incumbent trustees in the Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools have been acclaimed and elections are underway for five other wards.
Diane J. MacKay, the trustee for the Innisfail-Bowden-Olds-Didsbury Ward and Liam McNiff, the trustee for the Rocky Mountain House-Caroline-Eckville-Sylvan Lake Ward were acclaimed.
There are seven candidates vying for five positions: incumbents David Bouchard, Adriana LaGrange, Guy Pelletier, Anne Marie Watson, and challengers Murray Hollman, Cory Litzenberger, and Brandie Towers.
Candidates have until Sept. 24 at noon to withdraw from the race.
