DIDSBURY - The Didsbury Aquajets swim club did well recently at the regional championships in Calgary.

Although no Aquajet swimmers qualified for provincials --  a top 2 finish was required -- several finished in the top 15 in their respective categories.

"The swimmers did amazing at regionals," said head coach Jesse Ritter. "There were several new personal best times ranging from up to 11 seconds off. I look forward to next year and seeing them get even stronger."

Club president Monika Rosenke agreed that the swimmers did very well.

"The coaching team did a great job this year encouraging the swimmers of all skill levels to go outside of their comfort zone and try different events," said Rosenke. "Our team did very well overall this year and I am looking forward to next season to see how far our team can go. Registration will begin mid-March in 2020."
