The Grande Prairie Knights came in first and the Didsbury Ramblers placed third. The Huskies played five games and won three.

“They're starting to get their passing game down, and that's essential for this style of play.”

Their season is also coming along well, and the Huskies are tied for first in the North Central Minor Hockey League. Coaching staff has been focused on drilling the team on passing and skating during practices, the coach said.

“They're a hard-working group of kids,” he said, adding the team is steadily improving all around.
