The Olds Grizzlys are looking to get back in the win column tonight when they host Okotoks Oilers at the Olds Sportsplex. Game time is 7 p.m.
That'll be a challenge. The Oilers are in third place in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) Viterra South Division with a 35-17-5 record for 75 points, while the Grizzlys have a 16-34-7 record for 39 points.
That puts them seventh in the eight-team division, 21 points up on the last-place Calgary Mustangs.
The Grizzlys are coming off a frustrating weekend when they lost two games - but just barely.
On Saturday, Feb. 25, the Grizzlys lost a heartbreaker - a 3-2 overtime decision to the Canmore Eagles in Canmore.
On Friday, Feb. 24, they were edged 2-1 by the Camrose Kodiaks at the Sportsplex.
Before that though, the Grizzlys had a positive outcome on Wednesday, Feb. 22, beating the Mustangs 5-3 in Calgary.
