The Olds Grizzlys have acquired 18-year-old defenceman Ethan Green from the Drayton Valley Thunder in exchange for forward Jeremy Klessens, 19.
Green, from Spruce Grove, is 5-9 and weighs about 185 pounds. He played in 44 games last year, scoring six goals and notching 17 points.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Ethan to the Grizzlys family," a news release says.
Klessens, of Red Deer County, stands 5-11 and weighs 185 pounds. He played in 161 games for the Grizzlys, scoring 31 goals and racking up 73 points.
"The Grizzlys would also like to wish Jeremy Klessens all the best in the future," the news release says.
"Thank you for your time in Olds."
