The Sportsplex will be home to a lacrosse tripleheader this Saturday, May 11.
It starts when the Mavericks hold their home-opener at 2:30 p.m. versus the Regina Barracudas.
Then at 5 p.m., the new senior C Stingers will host the Airdrie Mohawks.
After that, the tier II Stingers will take on the Calgary Wranglers at 8 p.m.
"It's kind of nice for us," senior C player-coach Andy Sweetman says. "We get some of the crowd probably stay for all three games and then some of the new crowd coming and going all the time, so it'll be nice to get some more exposure that way, for sure."
Sweetman was asked if this is the way it's going to be every Saturday.
He said "no." Most of the time only one or two games will be held on a given night.
"I think there's one more night when we have all three back to back to back," he said.
