Ladies bonspiel attracts 22 teams

Twenty-two teams from as far as Edmonton, Calgary and Spruce View participated in the annual Ladies' Open Bonspiel, held March 2-4 at the Olds Curling Club.The A event winner was the Bev Weich rink from Calgary.

Twenty-two teams from as far as Edmonton, Calgary and Spruce View participated in the annual Ladies' Open Bonspiel, held March 2-4 at the Olds Curling Club.The A event winner was the Bev Weich rink from Calgary. The Joanne Notley rink from Olds placed second and the Amanda Miller rink came third.

The B event winner was the Leanne Sather rink from Sylvan Lake. The Joanne Huffman rink from Olds finished in second place and the Terri Hunt team placed third.

The Sheri Fediuk rink from Edmonton won the C event. The Angie Fazakas rink of Olds placed second. The Tina Machan rink came in third.
