Justin Butt won the Hildebrand Motors Men's Open Championship, held July 6 and 7 at the Olds Golf Club, carding 71 and 71 (three under par).
Butt, a member of the club, has won the event the past two years. He took this year's championship by three strokes over Michael From (71, 76). Third place went to Shiro Maini of Calgary (73, 76).
A total of 126 players from across the province competed in the two-day event.
"Weather was expected to be a factor but other than the golf course being quite wet on Sunday from overnight rains, the weather was fantastic," says Olds Golf Club manager and pro Wade Bearchell.
