Olds High School sent five athletes to the ASAA provincial track and field championship this month, finishing ninth among 3A schools.
Laura Klinck finished first in the triple jump, second in the long jump, sixth in the 100-metre (m) dash and seventh in the 200-m dash. She placed first overall in the Intermediate girls category, earning 52 points individually.
Dawson Green set a personal best in the Intermediate pole vault with 3.30 metres to finish second.
Baylen Unger's 3.90 metres in the Senior pole vault was also a personal best, finishing second.
Jansie Nel placed fourth in the Senior pole vault.
Thomas Rosenberger placed fifth in Senior javelin throw and ninth in Senior discus throw.
Wanda Vandervelden was the team's head coach, assisted by Rachel Andres and Robyn Webster.
