The Olds Koinonia Christian School (OKCS) senior girls basketball team are provincial 1A champions — for the first time in the school's history, according to spokesman Ken Terpstra.
They won that title this past weekend in Paradise Valley, near Lloydminster.
In honour of that achievement, a school-wide celebration was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 19) in OKCS.
