The Olds Koinonia Christian School Royals senior girls volleyball team finished second at a zones tournament earlier this month, capping off the best showing for the team in 31 years.
The school hosted the 1A south central zone tournament for schools with student populations up to 99 students in grades 10 to 12 on November 7 and 8.
The Royals finished the tournament with a 4-1 record after a defeat in the final match at the hands of the Morrin School.
The Royals made it to the final by beating Delia School, Trochu Valley School, South Central High School from Oyen and Bassano School.
