Olds will co-host the Alberta Bantam Double-A Tier 1 provincial baseball championships with Acme from July 26 to 28.
Eight teams, including the Olds Bantam Spitfires, will play in eight games in Olds and four games in Acme during round-robin play with semifinal games taking place at 9 a.m. and noon on July 28 and the final at 3 p.m.
Bantam players range in age from 14 to 15.
The games will take place at O.R. Hedges Park and the other teams participating include Camrose, Strathmore, Stony Plain, Acme, Sherwood Park, South Jasper Place from Edmonton and Grande Prairie.
