Olds is hosting the Peewee AA Tier 1 provincials on the diamonds at O.R. Hedges Park this Friday, Aug. 3 through Sunday, Aug. 5.
The Olds team consists of 11 players, age 12-14, including one girl. Most of the kids are from Olds but the roster does include one from Torrington and one from Trochu.
"Games are basically all day. The first game is at 9 a.m., last game starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday," Spitfires team manager Jodi Rice says.
The Olds team plays at 6 p.m. on Friday and at 12 noon and 6 p.m. on Saturday.
