The 13U AA Tier 1 Innisfail Hawks are provincial champions.
The Hawks downed the Beaumont Bosox 8 to 3 in the final on Sunday (Aug. 4) of the 2019 Baseball Alberta 13U AA Provincial Championships in St. Albert, Aug. 2 to 4.
Innisfail Minor Ball Association president, Murray Reay, said the 13U AA Hawks had a great regular season and were undefeated the entire tournament, including through three round robin games, the semi-final, and took the final with the 8-3 victory.
The Hawks are now off to the Western Canada Baseball Championships in Strathmore, August 16 to 18.
