MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - Environment and Climate Change Canada warned of frost on Sunday in Mountain View County and urban centres near it.
In its 3:32 p.m. Sept. 29 weather update, the federal agency had a special weather statement in place for Mountain View County including near Carstairs, Cremona, Water Valler, Olds, Didsbury and Sundre.
“Frost is expected overnight as temperatures drop to 0 degrees Celsius or below. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees,” the advisory said.
