The report also included updates on economic development and communications strategies in the county.
The communications department is currently in the preliminary stages of establishing a Mountain View Regional Communications Group, which will involve the county and four area towns and the Village of Cremona.
“The purpose of this is to foster regular communication and support among these entities, with the potential of quarterly meetings dedicated to discussing various communications efforts,” he said.
“This initiative aligns strategically with emergency management communication endeavours, working with the county’s emergency management team to enhance coordination and effectiveness.”
