TORONTO — The governing body of Canadian university sports has awarded Laval University the hosting rights for the 2021 Vanier Cup. The game is scheduled to be played Dec. 4 in Quebec City.

Canadian outfielder Cooper Davis is back at the College World Series. The 22-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., and Vanderbilt (45-15) open Saturday against Arizona (45-16). The eight-team tournament in Omaha, Neb.

TORONTO — The federal government is making 60,000 rapid tests available to CFL teams as they prepare to resume play this summer. The CFL says it's working with Health Canada as part of its health-and-safety protocols this year.
