Cameron Edward Rich, 57, passed away suddenly Friday, November 29, 2019 in Sundre. Born June 5, 1962 in Edmonton he was the son of the late Albert Rich and Merle Rich. Cameron dedicated his life for his country and his family. He proudly served in the Canadian Arm Forces for 22 years. He served with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, then with the Canadian Airforce in Cold Lake. He met his beautiful bride and wife of 36 years in Comox, B.C., 1982 while she also served in the Canadian Armed Forces. They married March 19, 1983. They later had 3 children and finally settled in Sundre in 2013. Apart from serving in the military,
Cameron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, going shooting with his sons and shared a love of horses with his daughter.
Cameron is survived by his wife, Judith; daughter Stephanie; sons Gregory and Allen; grandchildren Claire, Mikaela, Landon and Austin; brothers Todd and Kelly; sisters Carlene, Kim, Teresa and Sarah, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Cameron was preceded in death by his youngest brother Jarrid. Funeral Mass was held on Friday December 6, 2019 at Our Lady Of Fatima Catholic Church, Sundre.
