OLDS — A road closure implemented Thursday to facilitate water line repairs north of 61st Avenue and Ash Street in Olds has been lifted.
“The repair work is done and the road is now open,” Jillian Toellner, supervisor of engagement and communications wrote in an email.
The closures took effect starting at 7 a.m. Thursday. Access to 61st Avenue was restricted and the south side of Cypress Close was barricaded north of Ash Street.
The Town of Olds issued a notice on its website and via other media that these closures would remain in effect until the repairs were completed.
Schools were also informed about the changes.
