OLDS - Area competitors did well at the 2024 Canadian Finals Rodeo competition in Edmonton’s Rogers Place on Oct. 2-5, according to unofficial results.
In steer wrestling, Olds’ Matt Richardson finished 8th and Didsbury's Morgan Grant finished 9th.
In team roping, Sundre’s Trey Gallais finished 6th in the header competition.
Carstairs’ Kyle Lucas finished 8th in tie down roping, with Sundre’s Riley Warren finishing 11th.
Water Valley’s Havana Aarsby finished 4th in junior steer riding.
