Chamber business awards handed out

Six businesses or organizations and one youth received awards during the annual Olds and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Banquet at the Olds College Alumni Centre Thursday night (Oct. 16).

The Business of the Year (15 or fewer employees) award went to The Lady Bug Studio.

The Business of the Year (16 or more employees) award was presented to BARR-AG Ltd.

Boston Pizza Olds received the Community Spirit (for-profit businesses/organizations) award.

The Olds & District Hospice Society was presented with the Community Spirit (non-profit organizations) award.

The People's Choice award went to PreferredRX Pharmacy.

Richard Collins, B & M Home Hardware Building Centre received the award for Exceptional Customer Service (Employee).

Shaelynn Moritz, CLC Fitness Centre, took home the Youth Employee of the Year award.

The theme for the event was Back To Basics – Re-energize Your Business.
