Olds RCMP say charges are pending against a car driver after a two-vehicle collision early Aug. 12 on Highway 27 (46th Street) at 57th Avenue.
Police say the incident occurred at about 7:20 a.m.
"A driver of a Honda CR-V was travelling eastbound on 46th Street and made an unsafe left turn at 57th Avenue, travelling across the path of a westbound Dodge Ram," Staff Sgt. Jim MacDonald says.
Reports say the truck ended up slammed into a light standard.
The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance crews to Olds Hospital.
Charges are pending against that driver regarding the allegedly unsafe left turn.
