Even church property isn't immune from thieves.

Olds RCMP say between May 14 and May 17 someone broke into two sheds on the property of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

A Honda mower was taken.

During a recent interview, RCMP were looking for any information members of the public may have regarding that theft.

Olds RCMP were also looking for information from the public regarding several thefts involving Ford F350 trucks.

The most unusual such incident occurred in Bowden.

RCMP say between May 11 and May 17, the exhaust system was cut off of a 2016 Ford F350.

ìWe don't see that one very much,î Cpl. Michael Black says.

He says that incident occurred at a property in the 2200 block of 24A Crescent in Bowden.

Some time between May 10 and May 13 someone stole a 2007 Ford F350 parked in Park Meadows Place.

ìApparently it was locked; the owner had the keys,î Black says.

On May 11, between midnight and 8:30 a.m., a black 2001 Ford F350 was stolen in the 6200 block of 58th Street. It was later recovered in Sundre.

Also on May 11, between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., a white 2004 GMC Sierra was stolen in the area of Highway 27 and Rge. Rd. 281. It too was recovered in Sundre.

On May 14 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., a grey 2016 Ford Focus was stolen.

However, in this case, police have an idea of who may be responsible.

ìIt's still under investigation, but it's not like it's a whodunit on this one,î Black says. ìSomebody had given somebody a ride and they figure that they had boosted the keys at some point and then took it later on.î

When interviewed, Olds RCMP were investigating a break and enter that occurred some time between May 12 and May 17 on Rge. Rd. 280 in the vicinity of Twp. Rd. 334.

Black says jewelry, a sewing machine and even a safe were taken.
