The mayor's office in Olds will be sending a letter to the chair of Mountain View Seniors' Housing regarding a July 18 press release that stated the housing board approved a $26.6- million facility in Sundre.At a policies and priorities meeting on July 21, Norm McInnis, the town's chief administrative officer, said the letter is intended to gain clarity into why the budget for the seniors' supportive living, care and housing facility has increased.“On May 27, (Mountain View) Seniors' Housing came and did a presentation to our council and in that presentation … what we were asked to do on May 27 was to support the board's decision to approve a $25-million capital project,” McInnis said. “I think we need some clarity on why an increase in the budget already.”[email protected]
