The Sunshine Bus broke down as a result of the "extreme cold weather" experienced in the community and as of Friday, it was uncertain when it might be repaired, according to town communications coordinator Monica Leatherdale.
The para transit van is available to those who are 50 years old and over and/or have mobility issues.
In an email, Leatherdale said in the meantime, the town is providing another vehicle to provide service but did not specify what vehicle that is.
"There is a plan in place to continue with service at all times," she wrote.
She said "mechanical issues with the air ride system" in the bus were the problem.
Leatherdale said the bus won't be able to be repaired until parts arrive and as of Friday, it was unknown when those parts might arrive.
