A Sundre-area woman and a Red Deer-area man were scheduled to appear in Didsbury court Monday facing several drug and traffic charges – even a charge of soliciting the services of a prostitute.

Charged are Dana Patterson of the Sundre area and Clayton Raddis of the Red Deer area.

The charges stem from an incident Nov. 21 when a vehicle failed to stop for Olds RCMP after failing to stop at a stop sign.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 188 grams of marijuana, 25 grams of mushrooms, 50 grams of hash, 12 grams of cocaine, 47 pills of ecstasy, three oxycodone pills, cash, scales and “multiple electronic devices” according to police.

Patterson and Raddis face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Raddis faces additional charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and soliciting the services of a prostitute.

Patterson also faces several traffic-related offences.

Both were held for a bail hearing, after which they were released on bail by a justice of the peace to appear in Didsbury court Nov. 30.
