BOWDEN -- Something has to be done about all the dog feces in town, Coun. Sandy Gamble says.
Gamble made that point as councillors were going over a report on bylaw enforcement in the community.
The report listed dog feces as one of the issues being addressed, along with animal neglect, "snow issues," dogs off-leash, and property maintenance.
"We need to do something about people who walk their dogs on the road and let them go all over the road and the boulevard. It's disgusting," Gamble said.
"Well, they're supposed to pick up after them," said Jacqui Molyneux, the town's interim chief administrative officer at the time.
"I know they're supposed to, but they don't. When I walk down to get the mail in the morning it's disgusting," Gamble replied.
"I know," said Molyneux. "As I was going to the truck I almost stepped in it."
