Emergency crews were called out to Rge. Rd. 11 near the Highway 2 overpass Sunday, Aug. 4 at about 6:50 p.m.
A southbound semi trailer hauling hay bales had rolled over.
"The bales shifted as the driver negotiated a turn which pulled the truck over onto its side," Olds RCMP Staff Sgt. Jim MacDonald wrote in an email to the Albertan.
MacDonald said the driver was wearing a seatbelt and only sustained minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
