Police have confirmed that Taylor William Elliott was found dead near his residence in Pincher Creek on Dec. 17 and no foul play is suspected.
The 22-year-old had played for the Olds Grizzlys from 2008 to 2011 and was reported missing after leaving his home early on Dec. 1.
Tributes to Elliott have begun to pop up on Twitter and the Alberta Junior Hockey League issued a statement of condolences to Elliott’s family.
