Warrant Officer Michael Jacobs has been named the 185 Olds Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron's outstanding cadet of the year.
As a result, he received the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 105 president’s trophy from Olds Legion president Tom Bartholow.
Jacobs joined the squadron in 2014 and has become one of its leaders.
He has attended summer courses across the country.
This year, Jacobs has been selected to be part of the International Air Cadet Exchange. He will be joining cadets from 13 other countries in Australia this summer as an ambassador for the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program.
