Via MAD, staff at all four MVSH lodges and the administration office challenged each other to see who could obtain the most donations for local charities. The location with the most donations per person who participated won the challenge.

This is the first year that MVSH has held MAD, according to MVSH volunteer co-ordinator Anita Lobe.

“Last year we ran a Random Act of Kindness Challenge where our staff members made and decorated ornaments for our Christmas tree at head office,” she says. “They wrote what they did, or what they saw other people do.”

The winner of the MAD challenge will be announced internally within MVSH.

The administration office and Mount View Lodge staff donated all items and money they collected to the Olds and District Christmas Angels Society.

Staff at Chinook Winds Lodge in Carstairs donated the items and money they obtained to the Carstairs Lions Club, which put hampers together.

Aspen Ridge Lodge staff donated what they received to the Christmas Helpers.

Staff at Foothills Lodge collected items to help Santa's Anonymous.
