A 20-year-old Red Deer man was taken to Olds Hospital and Care Centre Thursday afternoon after the car he was driving rolled about 10 kilometres east of Olds on Highway 27. Police say the incident happened at about 3 p.m.
The man was the lone occupant of the vehicle. Police believe drug use may have been a factor in the incident. The man received medical treatment for undisclosed injuries at the scene and was transported to hospital for observation.
Bobbi Pinz hair salon broken into
Sometime between August 10 and 17, the Bobbi Pinz hair salon in Bowden was broken into twice and cash and hair care tools were stolen. On Thursday, someone tried to gain access to the business again, but was unsuccessful.
Travel trailer damaged
RCMP received a report on August 14 that a travel trailer parked near NAPA had damage done to its window and access door sometime during the previous three weeks. Police are looking for witnesses who may have any information about the incident.
