Olds Fire Department officials say the cause of a mobile home fire that occurred Sunday, Jan. 10 is unknown. One firefighter was injured in the blaze, which occurred in the Aloha Mobile Home Park at 5800 46 St.

Olds Fire Department officials say the cause of a mobile home fire that occurred Sunday, Jan. 10 is unknown.

One firefighter was injured in the blaze, which occurred in the Aloha Mobile Home Park at 5800 46 St. He was treated for what the fire department is calling “minor exertion issues.”

The call came in at 11:15 a.m. A total of 17 firefighters fought the blaze.

When they got there, they found smoke showing through the windows and out of the roof.

Damage to the modular home is described as “extensive.”

It took about two hours to totally extinguish the blaze.

Olds Fire Department deputy fire chief Jason Kjorsvik says two people lived in the mobile home. The last word he has was that they were going to stay with friends and/or relatives.
