Local residents and businesses in Olds are gearing up to host the 2016 national skip rope championships May 20-23.
About 300 athletes as well as their families and coaches are expected to descend on the community for the event, which will be held at the Ralph Klein Centre.
The Uptowne Olds Committee is considering having some of the participants come to Uptowne to do skipping demonstrations.
