OLDS — Occupational Health and Safety officials are investigating an accident that occurred Thursday, Sept. 15 in Olds.
Police and firefighters were called to the scene on 50th Avenue just north of 46th Street and the Tedds food store at about 9 a.m.
"It was a collision involving a pedestrian,” RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney said during an interview. “The pedestrian was taken by STARS to a Calgary hospital but was in stable condition the last report on the file.”
“It’s a work-related injury so now Occupational Health and Safety have taken carriage of the investigation,” she added.
