Aggie Ale has won another award, this time a silver in the Canada Beer Cup.

OLDS - One of Olds College Brewery’s ales has racked up another award this year, once again proving it is one of Canada’s best.

Aggie Ale won silver in the North American Amber Ale category of the 2024 Canada Beer Cup.

The awards ceremony was held Oct. 18 in New Westminster, British Columbia, in conjunction with the BC Craft Brewers Conference.

The Canada Beer Cup is a national competition celebrating independently-owned and operated breweries across Canada. It showcases quality and innovation in craft beer from coast to coast to coast.

The competition featured 56 different modernized beer style groups in 12 categories, influenced by worldwide trends that reflect brewing innovations and consumer tastes.

During the 2023 Canada Beer Cup, Aggie Ale won bronze in the same category at the event in Niagara Falls.

In June, Aggie Ale won bronze for the North American Amber/Red Ale category in the 2024 Canadian Brewing Awards.

The Canadian Brewing Awards invites Canadian majority-owned breweries of all sizes to compete in a Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) sanctioned blind tasting determining the best beers in 61 style categories.
