OLDS — Town council has set two dates for operating and capital budget discussion.
Both meetings will be held in the council chambers Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 9 a.m.
During the annual organizational meeting, council also appointed several residents to boards and committees in town.
A couple of appointments were made to the board of OFL which operates as O-NET. Michael Wuetherick was named its chairman, effective immediately. According to the town’s website, he joined the board last April. Coun. Darren Wilson was also appointed to that board for a two-year term, effective Oct. 23.
Several local residents were appointed to the Olds Municipal Library Board.
Shawna Cevraini was appointed to the board for a three-year term. In addition, Delin Sheehan-Millang and Jennifer Topiwala were each appointed to that board for a two-year term.
Four people were appointed to the Mountain View Power Committee for a one-year term. They are Scott Van de pypekamp, Jessica Hammer, Murray Elliot and Ray Cavin.
