OLDS — Business development advisor Michelle McFadden announced a new tool to support local businesses during the second annual Small Business Week kickoff breakfast.

About 35 people attended breakfast, held Monday, Oct. 21 at the Cacio e Pepe Italian Bistro in Olds.

McFadden said starting Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Regional Business Support Network is offering 20-minute live online Biz Bite learning videos for business people. Attendees can receive recordings of those shows for free.

This first one is called Show me the Money.

“We have five financial institutions coming on board to chat about the 5 Cs of credit, how to get money for your business,” she said.

McFadden said it's so popular that all the spots are filled and there's a waiting list.

The next one to be launched on Nov. 19, will be all about grants for businesses.
