OLDS - Customers of the Dairy Queen location in Olds bought hundreds of frozen treats in support of children's medical needs last week.
Net proceeds of Blizzard sales on the Aug. 8 Miracle Treat Day are donated to the local children’s hospital foundation.
Sale proceeds and donations from the area's Dairy Queen locations went to Calgary’s Alberta Children’s Hospital.
The Olds store raised $5,629.44 on sales of 904 Blizzards, down from last year.
