OLDS - The first baby born in the new year at Olds Hospital & Care Centre is actually from Trochu.
Carmen Badilla made her arrival at 3:58 p.m. on Jan. 1, weighing seven pounds, three ounces. Welcoming Carmen into the family are big sister Sofia, mom Jenaida and dad Erwin.
Alberta Health Services confirmed the celebrated birth.
